Dear Nakkiran,

Thanks for the query. YES, a student from IGCSE curriculum can appear for entrance exams for professional courses like engineering, medical and more.

Be it CBSE, ICSE, IB or IGCSE ... they are all eligible. The only requirement for these professional exams is that the student must have cleared 12th or equivalent from a recognized board of education. The percentage or cut-off marks may be specified by some of these boards.
