In mumbai, the most common board of education is ICSE or the state board. Very few schools will follow CBSE program. So based on the distance from your home and the quality of the school, please choose an appropriate school.

There are no issues of any kind in getting admissions to colleges from any board. Though if you want to move to Junior college after 10th, then you may prefer state board schools. However, if you are flexible to take admission after 12th then you can choose any school.
